Just after a bit of advice please. I had a severe storm rip through my area the other week and preety much destroyed my solar panel system on the roof. The win ripped the panels off the roof and carted them over the neighbours yard and into a few trees. The insurance company were complete legends and the whole system has been replaced with no hassles at all, lucky i am with, this insurance company. Anyway, the electrician has called me to say that he has salvaged one of the panels and it is good to go, and i had also been advised to replace the batteries with ones with a bigger capacity as i have alot more powere going inot them, which i have done at a huge price, geez they are expensive, So, where i stand is that i have one 80watt panell and two 6v solar batteries all in good working order. What do i need to do to get the panel charging the batteries when i go camping. Is it as simple as getting them wired up and put the panel in the sun? I want to use the power for lighting only. Any help much appreciated.
