Pancake Creek..assist

Any of you Ausfish folk been to Pancake creek by road. Yes I said road :) I have seen an aerial shot of the place and there is definatley a road near the mouth of the creek on the northern side. There is also shown a " causeway " upstrem from there. Some say that you take to Turkey Beach road and turn off it.

I have fished the area before, driven from 1770 and looked around, caught o couple of Cod at the headland and enjoyed the view looking into the creek proper..

I know that " Downrite Adventures " will drop you there in a boat from 1770, so there must be some sort of camping area.

I 'm keeen to take the Tinnie up there at Easter. Any sandflies like Turkey Beach ???

While we are on the sandfly subject.

1 part Dettol, 1 part Metho, 1 part Baby Oil. Worked at treat at Turkey Beach. Best repellent ever. trust me ;D

??? I have not tried this route but I believe it is accessible with a 4WD
