Canoe Trips - Tilly or Herbet River

G'Day,

We have 2 4wd's and 2 canoes and are looking at fishing the Tully or Herbet via canoe.

The information I am looking for is Spots where we can park vehicles.

We would like to park a car downstream, paddle down for about 2 days, then drive back to where we started to pick up the other vehicle.

We have special canoes that only travel downstream. ;D

QFM mag had an article a couple of issues back on fishing the Herbert - water level was low from memory - probably not so now. I'm sure if you dropped them an email they'd put you in the right direction. ;)

Still not had any luck on those DK's Snagmasters. ???

No luck buying. Gave Protackle up there a call - they've got them. I'll place an order with them next week.
