Hi Rob
From what I have been able to determine there is no camping at Turkey Beach. If you check out Bush 'N Beach Fishing you will find a few accommodation places.
I have never been there but understand the fishing is fantastic.
Cheers.

Hi Rob
No camping or caravan park at Turky Beach itself but you can hire Holiday units there or you can camp at the river mouth if you have a boat
all supplies have to be taken if camping there
but there is a general store at turky beach for fuel etc.
you could try gladstone phone book or internet for details
Good time of year to be going there plenty of whiting etcin the creek, makeral around at Bustard Head, and good access to the reef from there
not many mud crabs to many pro's
hope this is a help

Hi Rob.
camping at the mouth is fairly well protected from the prevailing winds which are southerlys at this time of year
also boat ancherage is good but it is sand flats so some of it goes dry
there are a few good stands of sheoaks at the mouth were most camp and there are hardley any sandflies there just a few mossy's
so hope the camping is great and the fish are biting
