Driving Frasers calm side?

hi all
I am thinking of taking my 12ft tinny 2 fraser to fish the calm side.(in the toyota comp) just wondering what the beach is like to drive on calm side? around Wathamba creek(in land from orchid beach) area and launch the tinny, camp and stuff like that. I have only been around the mid to bottom of fraser so I am not sure what the tracks are like up the to end specially around the comp time. ???

Drove it a few years ago. What few there are are not great. Wouldn't recommend it.

Watched a Landcruiser head out from there with some young fellas at the wheel one night.........and then come back after the tide had gone through the following day towed by another vehicle and smashed to the crapper by the waves. Apparently it got bogged and couldn't be retrieved until the ocean had a go at it! A big gamble in anyone's book!

thanks for the reply fellas on that trip we didn`t even take the boat off the trailer we fished the surfside for the whole trip. We are going to morten island in a couple of weeks if the wind keeps down I think we will be all right there..
