hawkesbury river

has anybody camped anywhere on the lower hawkesbury around spencer to brooklyn. i have been told there is an island you can camp on free . its not milson or pete.

The only other island that i know of up that way is called bar island i think it's council owned, otherwise i used to camp at Neverfail cara park i think it was called just near Spencer
