Hi all

I have for many years relied a lot on the sun (solar) for my camp shower and while I still don't have any problems with it, I am tired of struggling to get about 5 - 10 litres of hot water up in the camp shower. I even set up a pully system to help. Must have something to do with age. ;D

With that in mind I am looking to get a powered shower unit. Not sure if I should go for the type that are fitted under the bonnet or a portable unit. While I have looked at many different types I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has used one. ??? ??? ???

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Derek

hi derek the hot shower we had at easter was a 12v pump setup we would heat up the water in steel drums next to the fire then you would mix your warm water in a plastic bucket take it to the shower tent stick the hose in turn on the switch and have a nice hot shower cheers rattler

G'day Derek,
Please give me a ring or drop me an email regarding hot water showers and I will point you in the right direction. I think this is better if we speak directly as I'm unsure of the protocol of a manufacturer conversing on this website.
We have developed and been manufacturing the Glind Aussie Hot Water Showers for nearly 20 years. My phone number is 07-3408 4941 or info@glind.com.au
Cheers, Tim.

Tim

Thanks for the info. I am currently overseas and due back in Australia late May. Will contact you when I get back as the Glind is certainly one that has interested me for some time.

Cheers

Derek.

I can vouch for 1 of Tims(Glind) shower systems. I got the portable type, and Tim mounted a permanent connector in my 100 series Cruiser. i have been using it heaps.

Ps Tim
put my order into Col Yesterday for a 4.8m tiller, will chat with you a Cols next open day about setting 1 up in the boat
