Noosa-Rainbow Beach, only 2wdrive car

Hi, the girlfriend and I are wanting to go camping anywhere around the noosa- rainbowbeach area but
- only have a normal car
- went to rainbow beach at easter and beach was erroded away (worried if we go back it will be the same)
- would like to go fishing (only land based)
- anywhere cheap
- showers would be preferable

Just wondering if anyone would have any suggestions, appreciate any response.

Hi Hocus

Getting to Rainbow Beach in a normal car is no problem but don't try taking it on the beach.

There is plenty of accommodation there including some pretty up-market hotels. Also the caravan park is well worth a look with some pretty good quality cabins.

If you want to rough it and risk going without a shower then head for Inskip Pont and camp at the campgrounds there. It's chaep but facilities are limited.

Like I said, no showers.
