Bribie Beach Camping

Hi there, I'm thinking of camping on the beach at Bribie Is. I know there is a permit to get before going up the beach about 70$a year. My questions are 1- Is it worth camping up there or just keep the $70. 2- once this wind dies off how will the fishing be there? any other tips would be helpful .
thanks for any information given. It may be busy during school holidays . I might try mid week if this will be better. Will it be hard to find a camping spot? ??? :) ;)

I'm a bit like you. I live near Bribie but wonder about paying for that permit just to check it out. Someone did tell me once you can get a monthly permit.

Anyone out there been up the beach in recent times. ??? ??? ??? ???
