hi shano,
haven't been up the beach for a fwew years. you need a beach permit to drive on the beach, available from caboolture shire council or bongaree caravan park. $21.50 for day, $31.00 for week and 74.00 for year or 34.00 month.
national parks look after the camping up there now. give them a call 34088451 they should be able to give you info and maps etc
it gets very busy around easter and christmas. alot of locals set up camp for a couple of weeks at a time.
hope this helps
cheers

The EPA have a good brochure and map you can download from http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/publications/p01296aa.pdf/Bribie_Island_National_Park.pdf
Cheers.

I seem to recall there are a limited number of camp sites, first in best dressed and fire rings which should be shared with other camps. Have been fortunate enough to always have camp site to ourselves, bloody great spot.
