Got this off another site and although not confirmed I wouldn't be surprised.

For your information, although National Parks have not published this info yet.

From May 20 2005 no generators allowed at Waddy Point foredune camping area. From 1 July 2005 this area has to be booked for a site and no generators. No water spikes for water.

As from 20 May 2005 . There is no water supply to this camping area. You have to go to the Rangers Station or Waddy Campground for water.

Guys if you know any one camping in this area for the Fraser Toyota comp in May. Pass on info. They have to change there camping arrangements, now the are no generators.

Please Note: No generators permitted in this campground after 20 May 2005.

No mention yet of the sand spikes and water.

Thats what 100's of $99 generators do to camping areas now generators are getting ban from a lot of camping grounds that used to allow them.

Foxie

Most National Parks and State Forest camping grounds have had them banned now.
