G'Day,
Brunswick heads is nice in the river side caravan parks, but you'd probably have better river fishing down at Ballina.
Cheers
Jeff
PS If you went to bruns you could always treat yourselves to a trip with Mono.

Repton Riverside Caravan Park about twenty mins south of Coffs Harbour. Can get sites right on water and pull the boat up.
Also no pro fisherman in the Bellinger/Kalang Rivers.

If you like camping in national parks , no power or showers but has toilets and fire places also electric bbq Sandon river nsw is one off the best spots on the coast but be warned this place is very popular and fills up very quick.
wooli is a great spot. has had pot poachers working it tho'. quiet this time of year
minnie waters if you have 4wd and bigger boat for outside fishin.
sandon river is beaut. never fished there but i looks good.
yamba/iluka. pick a side of the river I'd go for iluka myself.heaps of fishing options
mclean. same river just further upstream
evans head is nice but only a short estuary.
ballina- busy river and only 1 camp ground with ramp(actually on a creek off the river)
brunswick- been a bit average due to road/bridgework.
tweed- lots of options but not real quiet.
cheers roo.

Only problem with Sandon River ramp is the lack of parking & the ramp itself, it's often covered in sand & not 2wd friendly.

If you have a 4wd and are able to beach launch then you wont get any more relaxing than Pebbly Beach half way between Coffs and Grafton. Very quiet this time of year, great beach or rock fishing options and you can beach launch most of the time and hit the close reefs/ bommies close to the campsite. All gear, including water must be taken in with you though. Toilets provided though.

Station creek is the top campsite but Pebbly beach is accessed down a 4wd sand track, north up the beach then crossing Station Creek. And Yes Yuragir National Park.
