I didn't think you could still camp anywhere at Fernvale?
Certainly not at the twin bridge area where everyone used to camp.

Wivenhoe Dam is a good place to camp out that way and they provide free firewood.

Hi Straddie local if you want to know anything around fernvale
just call the local pub and ask for Gaz.
Everyone there should know who provides firewood and all the good camping spots etc Don't forget to grab some coldies from the put before you go ha.
We agree with the firewood thing - we pushed for it to be provided at awoonga as it used to be for $20 and now fees are $24.50 and it's not provided.
Keep asking camp sites to provide it as cressbrook dam has tonnes of wood with fireplaces at every site and A1 facilities for $6 each a night.
Hope this helps you out - enjoy your trip.
