Do the 3L merc cruiser come in fuel injected
if so what date did they start

I think you could (and maybe still can) get EFI or carbed versions. It probably depends on the boat builder. I don't think it makes a lot of difference. My 2006 V6 had a 500 Holley carb and was fine. Needed 95 fuel though or it dieseled on shut-down.
