Camp ovens

Been watching a guy on YouTube king brown and have learnt a lot from him on how to use them and some good cooking tips and recipes for damper,he puts iceing sugar in the mix it helps it rise but doesn’t sweeten it,I’m going to use that tip next time camping.

How good is a camp oven :P

Everything from Damper through to roast duck .

Just packed my little one for the trip to Kinchant - slow cooked stew on a couple of nights ..... yummo

My 2 are sitting in the chicken coop being used as water dishes...dont really set up a "camp" anymore now with a boat with bunks and travel oven....

Cant beat a camp oven stew though..as a kid I used to do a yearly winter camp with a freind and his grandad who was retired but trapped rabbits as a sideline ....rabbit stew was a real treat..
