Hello all.
BC have advised me that they will not supply unpainted hull, so I must have a painted hull.
The standard colour is white. I need to pay extra for another colour.
What are your recommendations for paint colour choice of a new 670C bar crusher?
Available BC Colour palate link below.

You know there are lots of smaller manufacturers that are happy to meet your needs and also customize a boat to suit you...
I would take my money else where and end up with a better boat as well..

All the ones I am familiar with are up in the Great state of QLD..;D
Though I have seen these guys down your way mentioned on some forums...
Apparently they will build to any stage of completion and customize however you want for less money then a BC ....they look better then a BC too IMO...

Any prospective owner needs to see one in the flesh
They certainly look good from a distance - but have a look up close & the build is quite agricultural though .

Yep Chris, seem to be a budget fishing boat..
Apart from BC are there any other plate alloy boatbuilders down there in Vic..?
Personally if I was south of the GBR I'd probably go for a glass boat with a cosy cabin anyway..

Thanks guys. Appreciated. I think most / all of the smaller custom ally plate manufactures in VIc have gone.
It’s interesting to note that the Bar Crusher remains a popular boat much further south of the GBR in Tasmania.
I have seen the BC up close and climbed all over them last week at the BC site. I quite like the look of the rugged agricultural fishing boat, with some practical fishing attributes.
But - Every boat has its compromises, including BC.
All - I am still keen to read your paint colour recommendations for the BC from the link below.

Splash what’s your main uses for the boat? Are you set on aluminium? What are your biggest restrictions on what you buy? Length? Width? Budget? Tow vehicle? What sprt of range do you fish?

Hi lovey.
I will PM you the information you have asked for.
I would prefer to have all readers refer to the original scope of this thread into paint colour recommendations for the BC.

Admiralty grey or midnight blue for a "C"
If you are fastidious & wont be scratching up your boat - black & white looks the best

Black and grey is very popular over here--in fact, I think it might be the only colour they offer? Seems to be anyway--maybe it's just part of the automotive trend to make sure every landcruiser is dark grey, with everything blacked out, and called Black Betty, or Back in Black , or whatever...." walks away muttering to self...."

I’ve got a bar crusher on order, having never considered them before, and I was actually pleasantly surprised at the build quality of the few that I looked at.

I’ve got 615BR on order hand have stuck with the standard white. Mainly because by the time I added various options I didn’t want to spend more money on paint.
I was a bit worried that full white would be a bit blinding but I looked over one a little while ago and it’s a slightly creamy white and I thought looks quite good.
If I wasn’t so cheap I would go with either charcoal or blue.

The quality of build is pretty darn good when it comes to Barcrushers - Everyone comments on the quality of the welding & general robustness ....... no complaints here .
I recently checked out a few Yellowfins & just shook my head ...... no thanks looked like it was welded by a relative novice .

Hi Mate, my experience in a used boat yard, black with grey/charcoal accents was always by far the most desired colour combo, followed by black and white, so for resale value alone I would go that way
