Open, and have hatches on some to keep the water/weather out so you can store dry "stuff"

Yeah what Noel said....and If you could get decent hatch covers that would seal properly then it would give you some good storage spaces..
Those cheap white hatchs they use dont stop water infiltration though so maybe do some research on what ones are best..
Thats a Seaking Cat huh..?..How has the process been during the build..?

it took them a while to start the build. Once they actually cut the metal out it goes fast. I am impressed with the weld quality and where the boat is so far.125013

I noticed on the THT thread that the outer hull sides are double skinned with ribbing I between the inner and outer skins.. Was there an explanation as to why they did it this way?

Those ribs are tacked on to stop the plate from buckling while they weld it. That is the secret to getting such a good and almost optically perfect surface. It takes a lot of extra work to do all that, then break them off and grind away any evidence of them having been welded on, taking meticulous care to not grind even a tiny bit too deep or it will show forever. The reward is when you look at the reflections on the sides of the hull after painting, and it looks as good as a fiber glass boat.

ah yes I was looking at it wrong. I thought it was double skinned on first glance.

They look to be fairly solidly built.
I take it you will rig the boat yourself or by a professional once you get it home?
