Alpha Vintage Bakelite Fly Reel

Hi everyone
New to this so hopefully I have created this post correctly.
I have found an old bakelite Alpha fishing reel which I believe is for fly fishing and wondering if anyone may have any information about how old it is etc.

Hi Mark I’ve never heard of that reel but there’s a few on eBay and Australian made by the looks of it.

it's actually a mooching reel, specialised for float fishing.....i have a 4" model in the shed.
