Winter whiting=where are They?

Hey folks, I've got a 3 hour window tomorrow morning for a quick fish to put on a meal tomorrow night.

I'm heading over to the Rous area for reference. I normally fish fisherman's gutter but havent done that well lately.

Any heads up on where the winteries are would be amazing.

Bermo a mate got 2 in rouse today over 3hrs...haha..he reckons dead as.. im going tmrw too so hope I do better than him or he will give me heaps for calling him a useless prick.

haha first trip out for 7 weeks mate there still where i got them last trip..its all to do with the bloke who wired the boat..can see the buggers now..cheers to you scotty.haha

We ended up pretty much where you recommended.

Got 20 real nice whiting in 45 minutes and then chased some bigger fish on movies.

No success due to big currents and cross winds making drifting difficult. Frustrating part was seeing good jewies on the sounder but not getting the bait to them properly.
