Obviously I’m new at jigging, maybe this isn’t even a jig ha ha but seriously, I got this I’ll call it a jig probably 3 months ago while Christmas shopping ( I just ducked into the tackle shop, it was right there,,) and when I opened the pack tonight low and behold it’s in two pieces, can someone please explain?
My other jigs are simple, hooks one end and line the other, but this one has a hole 2/3 along the body, not sure what I do with that. Hope you can see what I mean in the pictures https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180210/6a7f4ccee3f6473799e36130815d74b5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180210/196b301d11d67a1031a51344fee09357.jpg

Saltwater fishing, boat mad but has a job that gets in the way.

For anyone interested or who didn't know like me, I found a YouTube video showing this same jig, what I have to do is undo the circle/split ring from the red hook line and pass the line through the hole in the jig then reattach the split ring.
The split ring is then connected together to the main line from the rod and the tip of the jig.

Now you'd have to wonder why it couldn't have already come like that
