following up the report I did yesterday dad and I left manly around 6.30 this morning first stop pull the pots on way over to the rous whiting fishing..pulled the 8 pots for 31 keepers and we reset the pots with just 6 whiting frames for last trip and headed to the rous ...we pulled up on the corner of the rous and small ships channel and what can I say..the buggers chewed there heads off..we got 81 good fish on the first drift then the tide changes and the bugger shut down a little and size dropped..we finished with 100 whiting in bout 1.5 hrs then back to the pots for another 13 keepers..final tally for the weekend was 100 whiting and 66 sandies which has feed mine and the missus family...

Rosco I can taste those whiting. Never eaten one freshly caught as yet but they must be tasty thrown straight on the pan. Well done.

Well done. Do you get winter whiting all year round in Moreton Bay? I fish Hervey Bay for them and the are usually only around May till August.

Nice going Rosco, that’s a great feed for friends and families.
Mate and I fished for whiting in the rous on Saturday.
Managed 51 but quality was down from a couple of weeks ago.
Do you favour incoming or outgoing tides?
