1770 offshore rookie

G'day all, planning a fishing holiday to the much talked about 1770, I know this has probably been asked a thousand times on here but be patient with me haha. I intend on chasing reds (obviously) around Sykes and the more north eastern locations, any advice for a first timer? Any advice on accomodation for 2-3 6m+ boats and about 8 blokes? Is it worth doing a couple overnighters? Any advice for a first timer up there would be awesome
