I had heard a few reports about snapper at woody point.
Just reports, no snapper.
Tried drop off at green beacon, then back over near green zone. 1 big ray, thats it.
So what do u do when no snapper, go get a feed of whiting. Very hard to find on run out tide. Went for a run up the river for a bit of a signt seeing trip.
On way back saw a few boats around old compass bouy area.
Decided to have a throw, and found some whiting. Obviously just wanted that change in tide. 2 of us ended up with 60, with some real good ones thrown in.
