Had a quick trip out on the river last night amongst the wind....
Managed a nice jew of about 79cm, it took a live herring. As i was sounding around I came over a fairly decent sized school of fish, would have around 10 nice solid arches. Put the anchor down and then the herring and it was smashed nearly straight away and then that was it, school must have been on the move.
There are still prawns around, managed about a dozen good sized ones and there were hundreds of smaller ones, hopefully it will be a good prawn season.
