Just bought a nice new shiny polished aluminium bulbar and I was wondering what would be the best product to clean it with. Installer advised me to polish it every couple of months. Does anyone know of a good product to use? I have cleaned it once with a paste/polish made by" Mothers" but it was bloody hard work.

Purple metal polish is the easiest I have used. Available at Auto barn. It is a two part process. Not cheap but works. Still a bit of elbow grease required

G'day

Yes, the purple stuff is good, however just as good if not better is the collinites metal wax and associated products.
these can be had from hallsindustries.com.au
