Bay canals

I hit the Raby bay canals yesterday,,awesome weather but the fishing wasn't so hot.its a bit of a hit and miss spot for me,been getting quite a few undersized sweetlip and snapper lately with the occasional good one.here is an undersized but quite fat sweetlip from yesterday

Looks like he's just over legal size, grass emperor minimum size is 30cm.

The ruler was just a guide,I usually don't keep anything unless its well over,just having some fun on an awesome day

Sounds like a really healthy fishery in there. Would love to be able to get Grassies being land based on the north side (other than the odd undersized one from the beach at Redcliffe). What bait did the damage? Well done.
