Had a good session and awesome fun today up the Nerang, started at the Sorrento area getting solid Bream on 4cm Tidal blades in Olive colour, they're a great little blade very consistent, then moved further upstream where the big Whiting, flathead, bream, tarwine, and GT's were hungry. Got about 40 fish on blades, gulps and worms, all released, before hail and heavy rain set in sending us scuttling back to the boat ramp at 11.30am. Some nice dirty water up there from the recent dredging activity downstream, and todays rainfall will be great for the river. The Tweed river was a washout today. I'll try post whenever I have time, Cheers Clint from Brad Smith Fishing Charters
