Launched at about 9am and turned right about halfway out the leads to try and jig up some squid. Got 5 with 2 being of a good size. Headed a little further out to the reef and had a fish with squid being the bait.
Managed to get 2 yakkas and 1 pike, put them out under a ballon and one by one each were taken but couldn't hook up to whatever was taking them.
Landed 2 decent bream and also got 2 good sandies on the line as well.

I was out the other side of the leads in my boat Sunday too. We got 4 squid and 4 cuttlefish. Then the rain buggered off and the wind didn't come in as strong as predicted so we shot over to Fisherman's gutter and struggled for 15 average whiting. Still better than watching TV :)

They were very aggressive while it was cloudy/raining, each one took the jig right at the boat and it was great watching them hit it. They can fight pretty hard surprisingly.
Yea the conditions didn't get too bad, was nice in the morning.

Nice work mate, they are nice sized squid. Great feed!

Sandies must be thick if they are taking the line!

Cheers

Yea I thought they may have been slowing down. They were big sandies as well, no measuring required!
have a late start tomorrow so might try and head out for a quick session in the morning.
