Took my son out for a fish on the weekend wind was up but not to bad early. Put the pots in the Coomera for some Muddies. Cast around some plastics for Flathead but no luck, however, my son did get his first fish on plastic a Bream at 24cm. Headed to the Seaway and found some Tailor that were eating the plastics, they were mostly under size with a single 37cm model. Tried for a Jew and that is when the little fella got smashed basically dead sticking a 7 inch jerk shad. He struggled with the fight so had to give him a hand most of the fight, hence no video of the fight. Great to see a nice 65cm Snapper in the boat considering I thought it would be a school Jew and the little fella was stoked. Checked the pots the next morning and ended up with a good feed of Mud and Sand crabs. Good weekend in some average conditions and some great eating.

Thanks. Wayno60 I am a school teacher and can't agree more with your comment. The little fella is hooked, has been for a while, and it is the best feeling to have him say 'Dad can we go fishing' the wife can't say no to that so I just have to go fishing.
