Have a look for a few snaps on lures. They have been on the job in the southern bay.

Hey Dean, Sat looks little blowy. Sunday looking good.
Scottar, I only fish northern bay. Good to hear they are down there. Hopefully they will find their way up here around Woody Point.

I put a couple of pots in this afternoon just before the storm, nearly blew my hat off. Will try woody point bream & squire tomorrow morning when I pick up the pots

Willyweather was surprisingly accurate on Thursday Greg.
Pretty calm and very pleasant first thing then blowing its nuts off from the nor-east just after lunchtime when the ebb run started pushing all the pots in the Passage southbound at a rate of knots.
Certainly makes for a bit of excitement trying to retrieve the pots in those conditions.
Cheers

Well went out to woody point this morning, checked pots first up I think that they were checked overnight as 1 ended up 100mt and another 150mt into the green zone plenty of rope on them so don't think that they drifted. No sandies but a few female muddies left for me. 1 pot only had an xlarge dead sandcrab in it with a large claw mark through the carapace and 1 claw eaten off no culprit was in the pot usually the muddies stay in the pot till the food runs out. Anyway reset the pots and got 2 sandcrabs later. As for the fishing only brought home 1 flathead, also was extremely busy catching wobygong, blind sharks, small bronze sharks, stingrays, shovelys and a few undersized Squire. Home and cleaned up by 9am. Just wondering what would happen if fisheries found my pots in the green zone or saw me getting them out of there. Pete

bit of bad luck there Pete. Sounds to me like somebody lifted them and drifted into the zone whilst removing your catch. Not enough current out there to drag them in, even wobbygongs dont drag them that far.

Mate i got there at about 6 and now worries then, just when you come back.
When i came back there were 3 skis just parked there and they were up at fish cleaning area just chatting.
I use to own one and its so damm inconsiderate of some people.
I notice lately they they just think they own the ramps.

They are really pissing me off.

Clontarff is becoming a joke with them.

Not just clontarff , exactly the same at VMR southport lotus creek ramp. 3 across on the nicest piece of beach I wanted to leave the boat so I could grab the trailer...Nice enough blokes though, asked me politely if they could grab my park as there were none left. So the guy parking his car and trailer wanted everyone to know its a GTS, pumps the throttle to a few thousand RPM.... in neutral. I could only imagine what happens when on his jetski, I think his hair must have caught on fire.

Anyhow, good to see others getting a feed.

Yeah Scalem. Nothing against the way they talk to you, its just they have no urgency about leaving.
A group of 4 or 5 just decide to chat, and your right about reving up the motor at the ramp.

Other than get dirty and have a shot at them, dont know what to do.

Same thing in the tie down area after u pull out. People that dont go to front of the line.

Oh lets just park here with a 100 metre of area in front of them and u have to go around them.

Well thats my bitch.
