Sunday across the bay

Took the girlfriend to Tangalooma for the day for a snorkel swim fish lunch etc,
Stopped for a quick fish on the way across for the turn of the tide, had one set of bait jigs with 2 hooks left to get some live bait, made it a bit harder believe me, also forgot the little aquarium net to catch the livies out of the tank and that was even harder, not easy to catch a small yakka by hand in 70lt of water its hard enough with the net sometimes.
Anyway got couple of livies deployed and as the tide turned got 2 really nice cod, made the day before we even got to Tangalooma.
Was a great day little lumpy coming back tho.

I was out on the bay from 7 until about 11 chasing Mackerel and apart form a little one got zip. There were about 10 boats around the beacons and nobody was catching anything. One guy got lucky and reeled about 2 or 3 in during that time but they were nothing to write home about.
