I just have a cheap and small collapsible nylon net from Kmart. Can be a pain when hooks and flattys get twisted up in it. I keep saying I will get a gel one but haven't got around to it. My advice is keep it small and simple.

Berkley yak net. I tried the eco net, but the berkley one is much more suited to yak use.

berkley yak net does the trick for me. Mesh is fantastic, as is the retractable leash.

Berkley yak net for me. I have a mate with a bass nett (Oz made) and he finds it too heavy as it fills with water.

A gaff is fine for big fish and grippers certainly have a place, but a net is essential really for big estuary fish. They say around 90% are lost at the side of the boat.
