I have found a nice landbased spot in Coombabah Creek. I have fished it four times now and in each of the four short sessions I have caught grunter bream and a variety of other species including bream, tarwhine and Moses Perch, but overall grunter have been the commonest legal fish I have caught there. There have been plenty of bust-offs from hooking some trains. Last night was no different but this time I caught one of the trains, a nice blubberlip bream. Yabbies did the trick last night and fished very light (00 sinkers). Again, you don't need a boat to catch fish in SEQ.

Nice fish. Thought most of coombabah was a green zone now. Or is it still just the lake up the end

Up towards the Lake end is the green zone.

Nice Daryl.
Have fished that creek for some good results in a boat.Lots of different species.
Always thought when my sea legs gave way that would be one spot to fish landbased.
Nice place for families as well.
