Hey guys. Havnt been on here for a while. I wanted to head out xmas eve with my son and catch a few sandies for xmas. Was thinking about dropping a few pots out the mouth on the left of the brissy river. Anyone got any hot spots they wouldn't mind sharing. TIA.

I put 4 pots out yesterday afternoon off woody point, last year I did the same for zero keepers, this year was the same, a few female muddies and sandies, stuff the crabbing, from now on its bought prawns, ham and chicken for xmas..

reports have been good out near manly/wello point. I've been chasing muddies for mixed results. There are A LOT of crab pots out this season.

Where ever you put in that river don't let them out if your site. I seen 3 different boats check the same line of pots Monday.

I put mine along the rock wall with no keepers, all Jenny. 1 muddie and about 5 sandies.

Put 8 pots out tuesday night. Checked them wed. Morning. Reset them and checked them wed. Arvo. Released at least 10 crabs per pot on each retrieve. Only 17 keepers. All female sandies. Shit load of jelly fish too.

Sandies....Deep water round Mud is
Muddies....Go right up the Brisbane R, and I mean right up. Start at Southbank and then up past Indooroopilly bridge.
(and you are quite likely to get Sandies at Southbank as well....I have)

,i had 4 pots out brissy river mouth to the left,6 mullet frames a pot dropped them in Tuesday nite,checked them after 20 minutes for 1 sandy and 1 muddie keepers,went Wednesday morning for no crabs or bait in any of my pots

Yea i really think i got lucky that a. I had so many crabs in my pots. (#### loads of jelly fish too )
B. I dont think they were checked iether. Heading out to the pin tomorrow for a fish but will drop 4 pots for the chance of a muddy.
