Decided to take a run up to Donnybrook on Tuesday afternoon to see if the lizards were keen to play. The first two fish to hit the plastic resulted in dropped fish, so was certainly not off to a good start.
Then managed a 50cm fish that had been in the wars. Looked like something had tried to make it a meal at some stage earlier, so I tagged it and sent it back.

The next fish to take the plastic turned out to be one I had originally caught in the same area back in early August, so after posing for a picture, and a quick clean up to get the weed off the tag, I sent it back as well.

Only managed to find two more fish for the afternoon, one at 40cms and the other at 32cms. All went back wearing yellow plastic. All fish were caught on the 4" Zman curly tail in motor oil.
So, while it was a fairly quiet trip, catching the tagged fish made it all worthwhile, and makes it the 5th recapture of a tagged fish (1 snapper, 1 barramundi and 3 flathead) I have caught this year.
cheers
Jeff
