Testing out the new camera for the boat, MiGear ExtremeX Action Camera (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/cameras/extremex/extreme-x-full-hd-action-camera-red/576509/), similar to a gopro but less than half the price, fits most go pro accessories and with waterproof case to 45m depth.

have they sorted the mic on that one yet?
Saw a few bad reviews in sound quality when I was looking. Not that you need it underwater anyway..
If others don't need the wifi version, officeworks has a migear 1080p @25fps non wifi model for $59 and a few mounting accessories that may fit.

(dick Smith has a migear wifi one for $98 - might be the earlier one with bad mic?)

mainly for underwater and in the boat where it will be in its case anyway
I believe the cheaper one is the one with sound issues but havent tested this one
