Im only just getting into it. But it is anywhere from rooneys back to like coongul ck. Get into about 3m of water and cruise along lookin for bait balls and fish. Flick poppers or plastics at them and hold on

Hey mate, NWers are about to crank up a bit which trashes the bay might be worthwhile heading down the Straits plenty of flathead and threadies around or if you get half decent day the 8 mile is still holding good numbers of schoolies and broad bar Mackie flicking spoons or weightless live baits

Hey flynny15 S25 09.728 E152 43.968 just a general mark for the reef, you need to spend the time finding where the bait is holding, usually a meter or 2 thick holding to the bottom and the mackies cruising another meter or so above this

MAry and Susan are ideal when the wind gets up. Try around the first 1-2km of the Susan for flattys or threadys. Its very sheltered from a N-NE there. Just work the banks and drop offs as the high tide recedes. Rocky edges close teh the ramp are good too. PLenty of cod and shark.

Mate,
the Mary and Susan have been doing well for Threadies and Grunter, bream around snags, fresh mullet or live prawns if you get them, will be most effective.
Cheers
