Hi All,

Taking a trip to 1770 shortly and looking to hit all the usual spots.

Just wanting to be prepared and ask who you guys usually use for assistance on the water logging in etc whilst up there.

Is there a QLD state wide coverage?

Cheers
Nick

You call them on the radio to log on and give your details so they know who you are if you need help.
To become a member you will need to contact them via phone and talk to them.

They're right beside the ramp so just drop in an pay the dues.
At the end of the day $60 is bigger all on your trip and they'll usually have a long way to come if you're in strife.

Actually they hardly ever man that office. Best bet is to call them and find out the best place to catch them.

Thanks guys, I called them and they advised no need to pay a fee or sign up etc as everyone pays the same amount ($2/L) if a tow is required. Has anyone got any tips on places in close that will be ok to work when its 15-20knots? Im in a 6M half cab.

I have Already booked and paid for accommodation for the whole of next week and wouldn't you know it! Just my luck the wind has come up. after a month of virtually perfect conditions

Cheers
