Furuno GP1670 Chart Plotter Help

Hi, I am thinking at buying a Furuno GP1670 Chart Plotter, just looking for any feedback on this unit. How accurate the charts are and are they easy to use etc.

Hi mate,

I have the 1670 & 1870 in mine. Run the 4D chart and it works fine. Easy to use and no problems... Don't know that I'd run one again though. Only for the fact that even though this is the top of the range chart, the Navionics charts are far better I think...

Can you tell us what is your least favourite thing on 1670 and 1870 and what is the best thing you like about the units, which one are you using as a fish finder and what you using as GPs.
I was also considering to get one of these units but I'm still tossing which one to get.
