I know I should be happy and I guess I am but dropping a lot bigger one right beside the boat while I was thinking net or gaff I wasn't happy.....I thought he was done but he had different ideas...busted me off on the knot from main line to swivel.
It was a good fish with the biggest run ive ever had from a jew big powerful run at the start and fought all the way to the boat. Just as I seen the silver flash and the big boil on the surface I knew this wasn't a meter jew and when I got him out from under the boat and got a good look at him I nearly shit myself. Round 1, jewie... watch this space..

Good stuff wayno!! My boat is out of action and it is deadset killing me atm, I was really going to gie the big jewies a crack this winter and the snapper on placcies as well... went the other night and caught bream landbased, so depressing lol

I went out last weekend and the bloody sharks were following the mullet up the river and chewed up every mullet I put in the water....dam...might head down now and fuel up the boat...:P
