4 days at Kaurie Creek

Just returned from 4 days at Kaurie Creek .
Weather was near on perfect , no wind & 2 heavy showers for the whole time we were there.
Glassed out conditions made canoeing a real treat .
Fishing was very slow ...managed several flathead , bream & whiting .
The sandflies were leaving us alone as well ( after stocking up on repellent)
Many beers were drunk around the camp fire which was kept stocked for 4 days straight .
All in all a great time was had by all participants .

I do love it up there. I ALWAYS struggle to catch a decent feed, but without heading to one of the islands (Fraser/Moreton), it's my favourite place to fish 'n' camp....

It does get smashed by netters at times which leaves it very tough for a while afterwards.
