60 ltr Engel fridge thermostat

I have a 60ltr Engel that the thermostat appears to have failed on(Froze 3 cartons of beer:(), it is the dial type temp control. Fridge freezes regardless of where the temp dial is set. 2 questions, are the hard to change/do you need to be a sparky. Can a digital display controller be fitted instead of a dial.

Easy to change yourself and you're better off sticking with the electro-mechanical thermostat versus an electronic with display.

I have an old school engel that is doing the same thin. Dont ant to hijack your thread, but does anyone kno here to get one at a reasonable price?

One of these should do the job. If you can pull out the old one and post a pic then that will give me a better idea.
