Surprised to see no reports from the bay over Easter weekend. Surely people from Ausfish have been out there.

Im finally getting my chance to get there tomorrow. Wondering if the Longtails are still around ?

Planning to hit up the usual snapper spots early, then go searching for the tuna later in the morning.

I got 9 grinners today then gave up fishing and went snorkeling and had a fry up on the boat at Tangas.

There were some nice fish swimming around the wrecks. Kinda wish I had a spear gun tee hee 😉

cheers Nic

Finally got out for a fish today. Was at Nudgee ramp at 5:00 am only to discover that my fuel hose was buggered and I was going nowhere. After finding a spare hose fitting at Scarby marina chandlery, I finally launched at Clontarf at 8:00am, and went to Mud Island. The place was super crowded as expected, and fishing was very slow. Moved to a quieter spot and got a 66cm snapper, and my mate got busted by a nice one. Got quiet again after that and moved again and picked up a couple just legal grassies before we pulled the pin.
