Headed out sat arvo/night for another crabbing session in spot x with 3 other mates we were all hoping to get another good lot of muddies again so we could have a good feed. Was a big night didn't get back till about 4 am but managed to get our limit again. 3 of mine went down well with dinner last night! Its good to see the muddies are still breeding well!! Threw plenty of just unders over so next season looks to be a cracker too!

Cheers

Champion effort! Any details with your technique ie type of bait, round pots/dillies, time between checks, up creeks or deeper water. Always good to learn what others use for success.

Yeah everyone wants to know we're this spot is! It's north of Brisbane bout 40mins or so ;) It's a good little spot my mates that I have taken there can't believe it every time. Have never seen another boat there so that's always a bonus :)..

Chicken frames for bait changing every 3 hours and running them about every hour or when the 16 pots were checked.. There big nights to get them so it's not like there is masses of them hopefully late in the season I will get the bigger fellas again!

And nod I use the 1 metre round 4 entry pots.. And the crabs move every time were I got them last time were not there this time..

Skutso,

I do know crabs tend to move around, they have their own territories from what I hear. Big pots are the go. Chicken frames and bloodline tuna in the mix always works a treat.
