set some pots out yesterday looking for a feed of sandies,spread them all over the bay as it has been ages since I had been out in the bay looking for them..went out this morning and pulled them out.finnished with 24 sandies and a nice bream around 38 cm....had a approx. 10-12ft shark following the pots up then eatin the bait we emptied out the pots between green and st hellena,might pay to gaff ya pots in that area in the next few weeks.lol..only had 2 pots crab well we managed 16 keepers out of these 2....least I know where I will be dropping pots next weekend

Likewise we also dropped 8 pots over a large area this morning to find them and got 13, most where in an area which ive found is feast or famine so we only whacked a coupe of pots there, well this time they produced with the morning high, the other places had a lot of just unders and a legal each pot, all male in all the pots,, squid where out in force today.

Good to see that you got a feed mate. I went out to Macleay Is. on 2nd Feb a picked up half a dozen nice sandies in my new pots. The Crabs will be safe for the next few weeks, as I'm moving house, but I'm looking forward to getting out again once were settled.

I watched the game kingcray and I recon they will do ok this yr the hunters,they rattled the dolphins...
