Went fishin with a mate the other night to try out the new lowance elite 7 hdi sounder, minn kota bow mount, and batteries. After stuffing around with the new sounder being new to boat fishing, we fang'd around looking for targets to cast at and most of the night nothing. Moved on and found a promising target, 10mins of flickin and Jase spots a big black shadow, I thought awww Yer stingray, kept casting and bang! My little 2500 is screaming fought it for about 10mins and my mate managed to net it for me.... 80cm Jew PB!!! Few pics and shot him back in the drink to continue fishing.
Hrs later and my mate landed a little Jew which snapped his rod just above the first eyelet, still managed to get it in the boat. He has now gone from fibreglass to graphite. Haha!

All fish released and not a bad night.

Yer cheers guys got the Biggin on 4" zman swimmer opening night in colour. I def know its a personal best cause I've never got one that big before but starting to write them down now cause I've forgotten ones like bream, flatty, whiting ect....
Bloody sharks aye bud... I was a bit worried while I was swimming him back to health before the release that a shark might like a jewie fillet with a hand topper. Bit of surf n turf. Hahaha. I got that big fella using my little 2-4kg 7' graphite stick with a 2500 15lb braid 20lb fluorocarbon 1/6oz with a 2 O hook. Dunno who hurt more me or the jewie
