Hi, just chasing some info on cattle creek and its access. The best reports I can find are couple years old now. Can you still go up the beach and launch in insulator? Is the creek navigable at low tide? Any hints or tips?
Thanks

one of my mates has family running one of the stations up there so I haven't been on the beach for a long time
it is a small creek and you can't travel anywhere at low
we take the smallest tinny we could find and work the holes until the tide is big enough for travel
don't get caught away from your boat because the tide comes in pretty quickly when it does start and there are some big lizards in the area
it is good value but you waste a lot of time if the tides don't suit the days you have there
we end up going to Palmerstone or Stanage instead because there are many more options
cheers
