Im new to the forum and thought I would post an update of the fishing over X -mas:

1. Boxing day two nice Moses Perch and a legal squire;

2. 94cm Dolphin Fish taken on Saturday from Murphy's Reef - Floating pilchard on gang hooks;

Fishing from Moolahbah this week - New Year's day looks like it might be the next chance to get out!99195

I'm usually a bottom basher at murphy's but my old man always told me to have a floater out - Ganged Pilly on a bait runner - anyone can do that - set and forget - I will say though it was a good battle getting him in the boat on my lonesome -two solid runs, decent jump, and one very upset fish in the back of a little boat

I caught my first marlin on a pilchard floater on murphies reef. Always worth a go. Nice dollie.
