Would appre ciate knowing how many use this tube above their hook especially offshore deepwater fishing??.
Never used the stuff myself but from recent youtube videos ive watched its left me wandering??.

Always worthwhile putting on if you are fishing deeper water. Charge it up with a light before going to the bottom with your bait at night. You can also get the plastic squid in the same material. Some fishing sessions I have had ,you would not of caught anything without it.

Hey Volvo...lumotube is used extensively down here in PPB and WPB for night Snapper and Gummy fishing. Either on snapper snatcher rigs, or above a baited hook, time and again it has proved its worth, and I can't see why it would not do the same in deep water drops as the light levels are minimal down there. I guess its pretty much the same principle as using red tubing for Whiting - whilst there's no definitive proof, just anecdotal, that it works, it doesn't put them off so surely can't hurt!
