Sunday Session at Rous

Well it wasn't playing the game offshore today and I wanted a sleep in so it was at the ramp about 7.30 for a leisure ly fish in the southern bay.

Started at Harries for the normal small Snapper and a couple of bonus Taylor. I filleted one taylor and threw the farme in on the overhead. That resulted in a bigs strike a massive run and then a bustoff >:(

Moved over to Rous and the sand banks for a Whiting session and landed 30 odd in 2 hours plus a couple of Flatties. The majority of the Whiting were great size and really fat.

All caught on Squid strips. Dinner looking great tomorrow night..

Great work on the tings there mate - sure they will be a great feed. Do you look for anything in particular so you know where the fish are holding ie sounder, drop offs, weed beds etc?
